Univox presented the gospel cantata Great Joy, by Joubert, McElroy and Red. The work featured a 5-piece band led by keyboardist Lucas Marchand, joined by Chris Tsujiuchi, (piano); Ryan Luchuck (bass guitar); Alejandro Céspedes (percussion); and Kevin Mendes (drums). You'll hear a range of gospel styles with solos by members of the choir. Also on the program were a variety of shorter choral works for the season.
